ABOUT THIS COURSE
PROFI SKETCHING is a course built up to develop the sketching fundamentals and the basic skills. you will learn how to break down objects to their most simplified forms. And by using simple equipment, you will learn to build confidents in your line work and master the shapes and basic forms. All best drawings and sketches are made and built of organizing lines and shapes in particular way… therefore I see this course is the best tool you need to start creating your art in best way possible. These type of courses in high demand for whom need to start in art carrier, media, or an Artist in the entertainment industry. although it is the sold stone skills need it to get into illustration, comics, storyboarding, character design, game design, industrial design, and concept art etc...
COURSE PLAN
7 weeks
One class per week
3 hours each class
WEEK 1
INTRODUCATION-WARMING UP-FUNDEMENTALS

Materials review and the importance of warming up. Developing hand control.

The importance of exercising to develop your confidence with line and shapes.
WEEK 2
PERSPECTIVE- SHAPES AND 3D SHAPES

Basic perspective exercises.

One, two, three and four-point perspective.
-
3D shapes. Cups- cylinders-cones-spheres and combined shapes.

Study of texture and the effect it has on surfaces.
WEEK 3
ORGANIC FORMS
-
Developing a convincing organic form using simple shapes. and turning it into a living creature or plant.

Breaking down living things into simple shapes.
-
Study of texture and how it effects the organic surface.
WEEK 4
LIGHT AND SHADOW IN COMBINED SHAPES

Understanding basic lighting and shadow and how they interact with different forms.

Learning how to add light and texture on different forms.
-
Organic and inorganic.
WEEK 5
CREATING DEPTH & VOLUME
-
Learning to control and manipulate the 5 forms to create believable volumes.

Dissecting form to create depth.

Basic form analysis.
WEEK 6
DRAWING FROM OBSERVATION.

Drawing organic forms from observation.
-
Learning how to break them into simple thumbnails. Understanding how to make your drawing looks finished. Building visual vocabulary.
WEEK 7
REDESIGN PROJECT

Taking what you have learn from your observation studies and transforming them into organic or mechanical concepts that can be used for any project.

As you are now familiar with shape and form and how to control and manipulate them, you will apply what you have learned and use those observations as inspiration to design your own environments, characters, vehicles, creatures and whatever your imagination come up with.
